About us

In our company COLOMBIA RAFTING EXPEDICIONES you are going to meet guides that will always be very proactive, enthusiastic, extrovert, responsible and friendly people. They will always put major attention to their professional duty. All our guides have a large amount of experience not just at a national level, but also internationally. Our guides are part of the Colombian rafting team from many years back and they have participated in many worldwide competitions. 

Our guides are certified by recognized entities that have credit in Colombia and around the world like: International Rafting Federation (IRF), Rescue 3 International, Wilderness Medicine Institute, SENA, among others. All our guides also have a professional card that certifies them as tourism guides, and they are studying or have studied University degrees. They all speak English as their second language.

Our guides are the core and the success of our company.

Cesar Díaz known as “El Mae”

General Manager

Founder and general Manager of COLOMBIA RAFTING EXPEDICIONES. Cesar has more than 25 years of experience as a white water rafting guide and kayaking guide in Colombia and internationally. Nowadays, he is instructor of Rescue 3 international courses of “swift water Rescue” and he is also instructor of the International Rafting Federation (IRF) to train new rafting guides. 

For many years, he has been exploring many rivers and he has been promoting rafting as a commercial activity and as a sport. He has been part several times of the National Rafting and Slalom Kayak Team to represent Colombia in international and national events like : the South American games, PanAmerican games and world games.

Tamara Diaz

Assistant manager

Tamara has Swiss-Colombian origins, with a training program in Neurolinguistical programming techniques (NLP) and Nutrition. Tamara has been swimming for more than 10 years. She has worked also as a life guard during many seasons at the beach.

Nestor Diaz

Trip Leader

Nestor has more than 16 years of experience as a white water rafting and kayaking guide, not just in Colombia but also abroad. Nestor has been part of the National team of rafting and kayaking slalom attending numerous national and international events. No one knows River Suarez as well as Nestor with over 3000 trips making him River Suarez most experienced guide.

William Delgado known as “Momo”

Rafting guide and kayaking instructor

William has more than 18 years of experience as a guide for white water rafting and kayaking in Colombia and abroad. He has been part of the Rafting and slalom kayak Colombian team, and he participated in national and international events. Nowadays, William is instructor at the SENA institute where he teaches courses about white waters activities.

Henry Delgado know as “Red Bull”

Henry has more than 14 years of experience as a guide for white water rafting and kayaking in Colombia and abroad. He has been part of the Rafting and slalom kayak Colombian team, and he participated in national and international events. Nowadays, Henry is instructor at the SENA institute where he teaches courses about white waters activities.

Robert Acevedo

Rafting guide and kayaking instructor

Robert has more than 13 years of experience as a guide for rafting and kayaking. He already contested in many occasions in national and international events.

Kevin Arguello

Rafting guide and Kayaking instructor

Kevin has more than 11 years of experience as white water rafting and kayaking guide. His strength is rowing IV and V type rapids using both paddles and oars.

Olfer Malaver known as “Pecas”

Kayaking and white waters rafting guide

Olfer has more than 9 years of experience as a guide for rafting and kayaking. He already contested in many occasions in national and international events.

Hugo Regueros

Kayaking and white waters rafting guide

Hugo has more than 5 years of experience as guide for kayaking and rafting. He also does other types of labours like driving and taking care of the equipment with maintenance and repairing.

Théo Rivaud

Rafting and kayaking guide

Theo was born in France and he’s living in Colombia since ten years. Theo is certified by the French state and the IRF as rafting and kayaking guide. He works three months per year in France as a guide for rafting, kayaking and hydrospeed.

Alberth Andrades

Rafting guide and kayaking instructor

Alberth was born in Venezuela. He has more than 18 years of experience as guide in white water rafting and kayaking, not just in Colombia but abroad. He is a teacher with a special mention in French and English.
